Reshma believes that everyone has the innate ability to find solutions to their own problems.

Her approach to therapy includes building upon clients’ strengths and existing resources, as well as helping them cultivate and identify new resources to manage the challenges they are experiencing.

Reshma was born and brought up in Hong Kong. Having studied locally and in the UK, she is fully aware of the issues of living overseas and the impact this can have on families and individuals.

Reshma trained as a professional counsellor at University of New England, Australia, where she graduated with a Master in Counselling. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate of Psychology from the University of Hong Kong.

Prior to that she graduated from King’s College London with a BSc Business Management.

First-hand experience of being in the “rat race” makes her particularly empathetic to professional people trying to achieve balance in their lives.

Reshma is a trained EMDR Practioner.

She works with teenagers, adults and couples

She believes in using an eclectic therapeutic approach that incorporates a variety of therapeutic principles and philosophies in order to create the ideal treatment course to meet the specific needs of the client including using Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behaviour, Humanistic and Existential therapies.

She speaks English, Hindi, Sindhi and basic Cantonese.

Reshma is a member of The Hong Kong Psychological Society and a General Member of
The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association.
